"...with
sincere heart" is an LDS musical presentation about two people in
search of joy and happiness in their lives. Tim and Amy have known each
other since kindergarten and now find themselves at college, with many
unanswered questions.
They explore the scriptures for answers, specifically the Book of Mormon
which was given to each of them by LDS Missionaries. We hear the promptings
of the spirit represented by the beautiful voice of a large choir.
Writers Ken Powell and Randy Thorderson first began work on this
presentation over 15 years ago...now it is here for you and your family to
enjoy!
Below you will find the script, the music, and even the music tracks
(without lead vocals). These are all available for free downloading. We
only ask that you contact us if you plan on presenting this work for your
group. We would be happy to share tips and tricks that helped us have a
successful performance!
You can view and

here! We also offer the script as a Word Document in case you feel the
need to tweak. We don't have a problem with you making improvements to the
script for your use, but please do not distribute the changes...instead run
them past us and we'll consider adding the changes here.
The music cues
below do not have the actors’ voices, but do have the recorded Choir. We
found that the choir pieces needed to be a bit bigger and that our sound
equipment could only make our 40 voice choir so loud...but with the
recorded choir and the live choir, we were able to push the sound a little
more and make it more dramatic.
We used a laptop
computer to run the sound. But the Music Cues below could be made into an
audio CD instead. The music scores include simple piano parts, but we rehearsed
the choir with the actual music cues...making the music much easier to
learn.

Score in Acrobat (wsh_score.pdf - 1.97MB) - The
Score is best used when printed on a printer capable of printing on both
sides of the paper. Copy shops that offer electronic printing solutions
should be able to handle this without a problem. You can print as many
copies as you need without any royalty charge. You only need to pay the
printer for printing.
Script in Acrobat (wsh_script.pdf - 102KB) - This
is the script for the director, actors, and lighting/stage people.
Script in Word (With_Sincere_Heart.zip -
22KB) - Same script, just in Word so it can be tweaked.
Script with Cues in Word (With
Sincere Heart - cues.zip - 27KB) - This is a copy of the script with
the music cues hyper-linked. This worked great for our sound guy so that he
could follow along and simply click on the link to start the music using
the Windows Media Player. The Music Cues below need to be placed in the
same directory as this file on your computer.
Script
with Cues and Audio Cues in one download (wsh.zip - 60MB) - If you've
got the time or a fast connection, this is the easiest way to get the Cued
Script with the Audio.
Poster (sincere_poster.zip) - This is a
Photoshop document that is an 11x17 poster. You can use and edit this however
you like.
Program (wsh_program.zip) - Another Photoshop
document that was used for flyers and programs.
